Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 April 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Vibe Code Academy.
1. Introduction
Vibe Code Academy is an online learning platform offering structured web-development training, guided course content, support tools, and AI-assisted learning features.
Vibe Code Academy is a trading name of Instabus Ltd, company number 14618801, with its registered address at 21 Linden Way, Wetherby, LS22 7QU. References in these Terms to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Instabus Ltd trading as Vibe Code Academy.
By creating an account, accessing the platform, purchasing paid access, or using any part of Vibe Code Academy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vibe Code Academy, or have the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep your details up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.
You must not allow any other person to use your account, and you must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Some parts of the platform require email verification before access is granted.
3. Access to the Platform
Vibe Code Academy currently includes a free entry route and paid content.
- Free users may create an account, verify their email address, access the dashboard and selected platform features, and access Week 0 of the core course.
- Paid users receive access to the paid portions of the core course, which currently includes Weeks 1 to 5 of the main course pathway.
- Some additional features, tools, or services may be introduced separately, including optional add-ons or community features, and may be governed by separate pricing or additional product-specific terms.
We may change, improve, withdraw, or reorganise features, content, lesson structures, tools, and platform areas from time to time.
4. Course Access & Licence
When you access Vibe Code Academy, whether on a free or paid basis, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform and its content for your own personal learning and internal project-building purposes.
This licence does not permit you to:
- share your account, login, or paid access with anyone else;
- copy, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any course content, lesson content, guides, glossary material, templates, AI materials, or platform resources;
- repackage any part of the platform into another course, product, knowledge base, training system, or paid service;
- upload or post protected platform content to public repositories, forums, AI systems, or other services except to the limited extent genuinely necessary for your own private use.
All access is licensed, not sold.
5. Payments & Pricing
The core paid product is currently offered as a one-time purchase in pounds sterling (GBP) for access to the paid core course content.
Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems.
When you purchase through the platform, you authorise Stripe to process the transaction in accordance with Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.
We may offer promotions, coupon codes, or introductory pricing from time to time. Such offers are discretionary, may be withdrawn at any time, may apply only to specific products, and cannot be guaranteed for future purchases.
We may change pricing, packaging, or access structure for future customers at any time. Any pricing change will not automatically entitle existing customers to refunds, credits, or price matching.
If optional subscription-based or community products are introduced or activated, those may carry separate recurring charges and additional conditions.
6. Refunds & Cancellation
If you are a consumer purchasing from the UK, you may have statutory rights under consumer law, including rights relating to digital content and, in some cases, cancellation rights for distance contracts.
Where paid access has not yet been supplied, or where applicable law gives you a right to cancel, you may be entitled to cancel within the relevant statutory period and receive a refund, subject to any lawful deductions or exceptions.
Where digital content or digital services are supplied during a cancellation period, your rights will depend on the circumstances and on whether a valid checkout process has obtained any consent or acknowledgements required by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Outside those rights, payments are generally non-refundable once paid access has been granted and the protected content has been made available to your account, except where we agree otherwise in our discretion, for example in the case of duplicate payment, a clear billing error, or a technical issue that materially prevents access and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund or cancellation, please contact us promptly through the platform support route or by email.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Vibe Code Academy or help anyone else to do so. In particular, you must not:
- attempt to bypass payment gates, access controls, session controls, or verification requirements;
- scrape, harvest, bulk extract, mirror, or systematically copy platform content or data;
- share paid materials, lesson text, step content, or protected resources outside the permitted personal-use licence;
- interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the platform;
- probe, test, reverse engineer, or circumvent any platform security, watermarking, monitoring, or protection mechanisms except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use bots, scripts, automation, or abusive patterns to generate excessive requests, support messages, or AI interactions;
- submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, harmful, or malicious content;
- use the platform to develop or train a competing course library, content system, or AI knowledge product using our materials.
8. AI Features & Generated Content
Vibe Code Academy includes AI-assisted features, which may include public guidance tools, in-lesson support tools, idea-generation tools, project brief generation, project plan generation, and AI-assisted internal workflows.
AI outputs are provided for educational and guidance purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, unsuitable for your specific goals, or based on imperfect interpretation of your inputs.
You remain solely responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and deciding whether to rely on any AI-generated output, code suggestion, build plan, explanation, or recommendation.
We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be correct, complete, fit for purpose, non-infringing, or suitable for production use.
You must not rely on the platform's AI features as a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, compliance, cybersecurity, or other regulated advice.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform, including support requests, support replies, AI prompts, project-idea inputs, and similar user-supplied material.
By submitting content to Vibe Code Academy, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt, analyse, and use that content as necessary to:
- operate and provide the platform to you;
- generate AI responses and related outputs;
- deliver support services;
- maintain safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and content protection controls;
- improve platform quality, course clarity, and internal knowledge workflows.
You must not submit any content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, contains malware, or is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in Vibe Code Academy, including the platform design, source content, lessons, course structure, text, media, glossary material, guides, internal frameworks, branding, UI, prompts, instructional assets, and protected educational materials, belong to us or our licensors.
Paid lesson content and certain protected materials may be subject to watermarking, monitoring, event logging, access restrictions, and related content-protection systems. These mechanisms exist to protect the integrity of the platform and our intellectual property.
You must not remove, obscure, defeat, or attempt to defeat any watermark, content-protection notice, monitoring layer, or related safeguard.
11. Dashboard, Progress & Support Features
The platform may store information needed to provide your account features, including progress tracking, lesson completion status, checklist state, saved project ideas, AI-generated project materials, support threads, support messages, and account-access state.
We may use support tools that combine human and AI-assisted responses. Support interactions may be linked to lesson context, escalated into human support threads, or used to create internal curriculum-improvement materials such as draft guides or glossary candidates.
We do not guarantee any specific support response time, support outcome, or uninterrupted availability of support tools.
12. Security & Content Protection
To protect users, the platform, and paid content, we may use security and abuse-prevention measures including session controls, email verification, CSRF protection, origin checks, rate limiting, duplicate-submission guards, access checks, event logging, and content-protection monitoring.
In relation to protected premium content, we may log certain behaviour associated with content misuse prevention, such as protected content views and interactions that suggest copying, cutting, printing, or similar extraction behaviour.
If we detect unusual or suspicious behaviour, we may temporarily restrict access to protected content, require review, suspend access, or take other reasonable protective action.
13. High-Level Data Handling
To operate Vibe Code Academy, we process account data, access-level data, session data, email-verification and password-reset records, payment linkage data, progress data, support interactions, AI interaction records, idea-studio submissions and outputs, and security-related event logs.
Payment processing is handled via Stripe. Transactional emails may be sent through third-party email infrastructure on our behalf.
Our detailed handling of personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy. Nothing in this section replaces that policy.
14. Platform Availability
We aim to provide a high-quality service, but we do not guarantee that the platform or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may suspend access temporarily for maintenance, upgrades, security work, infrastructure issues, moderation, legal reasons, or operational changes.
We may also modify, replace, discontinue, or remove features, course components, support tools, or AI features at any time.
15. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access immediately if we reasonably believe that you:
- have breached these Terms;
- have attempted to bypass payment or access restrictions;
- have shared protected content improperly;
- have misused AI, support, or platform systems;
- have created legal, security, operational, or reputational risk for us or other users.
We may also suspend or limit access while investigating suspected misuse.
Termination or suspension does not automatically affect any statutory rights you may have, but it does not automatically entitle you to a refund either.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vibe Code Academy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, commercial result, project success, employment result, business result, or revenue outcome from using the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
- loss of profits, revenue, sales, contracts, goodwill, or business opportunity;
- loss of data, corruption of data, or loss of saved content;
- indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss;
- decisions you make based on course content, support guidance, or AI-generated output;
- loss or damage caused by third-party providers, including payment or email service providers;
- loss arising from your misuse of the platform or breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Instabus Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or connected with:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your misuse of the platform;
- your infringement of another person's rights;
- content you submit to the platform; or
- your unlawful or improper use of any AI output, course material, or platform feature.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where appropriate, we may notify users of material changes through the platform, by email, or both.
Your continued use of Vibe Code Academy after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Vibe Code Academy, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom.
